In winter, the combination of cold weather and central heating can dry out your skin. Now is the perfect time to pamper your skin with nourishing skincare products. Colour Me Beautiful skincare products are made with a mix of organic and vegan ingredients. They are fragranced with essential oils, made in the North West of England and are fabulous to use for yourself or to give as gifts.
The Hydrating Cream Cleanser (£17.75) suits normal to dry skin types and is perfumed with grapefruit, lavender and frankincense essential oils. You can remove the cleanser with cotton wool pads but I like to rinse this away with water and a soft muslin cloth.
To tone the skin and wipe away traces of cleanser I use the Rose Balancing Toner (£17.75) which is suitable for all skin types including combination. The antiseptic properties of the rose leave my skin feeling smoother and clearer, especially after wearing masks.
I love using all of the Colour Me Beautiful Moisturisers. The Geranium Moisture Boost Day Cream (£21.90) suits all skin types including sensitive skin and is blended with aloe vera, shea butter and oat kernel to hydrate the skin. In summer, I use the Rose Anti-Ageing Day Cream (£21.90) as this contains SPF25 and I love the fragrance too. It also contains Co-Enzyme Q10 which assists in skin repair and rejuvenation. It suits all skin types and is ideal for mature skin. The Replenishing Night Cream – Chamomile and Jasmine (£23.95) is a lovely night cream and I find it is not too heavy for winter days and it does work well under make up too.
As I special treat for my skin and particularly in Winter I use the Age-Defying Facial Oil – Lavender and Frankincense (£25.00). I also use this on my hands, nails and cuticles. This oil is a great gift for the festive season too.
If you are looking to buy gifts for family and friends at this time then why not treat them to a colourful scarf? Colour can brighten your mood and help you feel more positive. Colour Me Beautiful scarves (£22.50) are made of polyester and viscose which gives a lovely drape and is nice and soft to wear against the skin. As I have Deep dominant colouring characteristics, I love wearing the Purple scarf and this is a colour that looks good on everybody. If you are buying for someone who hasn’t had their colours analysed, Teal is another wonderful and uplifting colour that suits everyone.
